I chose the song "Chances Are" because I think this is a good song to be dedicated to boy soldiers. I think this song fits because if you read the lyrics there are a lot of lines that are very true for them. Some of the lyrics that I think fit are "Chances, chances are some might not hold out", "Deal with the loneliness, I'll take some tear drops" and "Though my days are filled with sorrow". For the first line I chose I think that fits because some of the boys don't hold out through it they pass on. The second one I chose because some of them have to deal with being lonely because they have lost their families and I am pretty sure they have all cried during this whole thing. Finally I chose the last one because after going through all the death and bad dreams I'm sure that they are feeling a lot of sorrow.
